Police say a Memphis Woman bought $17,000 worth of Dell computers using stolen identities. Police found evidence in the home of Princess Bland. The fraud was detected through Dell’s fraud department. The victims of the identity theft were over the age of 55. There are over 20 people that have been identified. Police say they found tax returns, social security numbers, and names of people from all across the US. 34-year-old Bland was using them to purchase all sorts of stuff on the internet. Police say she has an extensive history of theft and identity theft. They also believe she wasn’t the only person involved in this case. They also believe the identities were used to open department store credit cards. Bland is in jail after being charged with computer fraud, identity theft trafficking and forgery.
